Acetaminophen Allergies Can Be Fatal~1 min read
Although rare, allergic skin reactions to acetaminophen can lead to hospitalization, even death. The Food and Drug Administration recommends that those who experience skin reactions should halt usage of the drug. Despite the rarity percentage-wise, acetaminophen is the most commonly taken drug on the market and therefore public awareness of the possibility of reaction is warranted. Currently, over the counter medications are required to post a warning on the label, and soon, prescription medications that contain acetaminophen will also.
