Jim Harrison

Jim has trial experience in North Texas and around the state. He is an elected Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, which is based on outstanding contributions to the legal community. His practice consists primarily of family law, civil litigation, and probate/guardianship matters. While Jim is a skilled trial lawyer who has tried complex jury and non-jury cases, he is an advocate for early resolution when practical and cost-effective.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Baylor University, and he is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law. Prior to joining Springer, Lyle, Dameron & Harrison, Jim was a partner in a large and well-respected Dallas law firm and the managing partner of Harrison Law Firm.
Jim is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Denton County Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Collaborative Divorce Texas, and Collaborative Divorce Denton. He has served on committees with the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association.
Jim is committed to addressing each case individually in a timely, compassionate, and cost-efficient manner with an understanding of the client’s needs and goals.
Jim is married to Lori and the proud father of three children.
